The Chuckanut neighborhood is a truly unique and stunning area to live in. The majority of the area surrounds Chuckanut Drive, a scenic road along the edge of Bellingham Bay. The area is highly desired both for living and visiting because of its breathtaking bay and island views, and access to many beaches and trails. Although a lot of the neighborhood is rugged and undeveloped, you'll still find some great parks and restaurants worth visiting. For a great dining experience, you can visit The Oyster Bar or Chuckanut Manor for delicious seafood, and if you're looking for some outdoor activities, you can check out the Oyster Dome trailhead, Teddy Bear Cove, Larrabee State Park, or a number of hiking trails along Chuckanut Drive.
