A colorful feast for the eyes in which local artists have come together to create an Art Walk that celebrates Fairhaven’s unique charm with drinks, snacks, and live music, while supporting local art. With new artists featured every month (except December) this art walk is sure to offer something for everyone.
Village Books regularly hosts regional, national, and international superstars in the literary world, including authors such as Sherman Alexie, Garrison Keillor, Ralph Nader, Meg Tilly, Jonathan Safran Foer, David Suzuki, Terry Tempest Williams, Rick Steves, Ivan Doig and hundreds more. These events also double as fundraisers for local organizations such as the Whatcom Literacy Council, Northwest Indian College, Bellingham Boys & Girls Club and others.
Artwood is a cooperative gallery located in the heart of Bellingham’s historic Fairhaven district that specializes in fine, decorative woodwork designed and handcrafted by individual artists. Pieces include furniture, instruments, lighting, and decorative works of art.
