The streets are full of food vendor booths and people enjoying the some great eats.

Jacob reading his poem under the watchful eyes of the queen and her court.

Waiting for the arrival of the Queen and her court. And hoping for rain. Chuck Robinson of Village Books was the Master of Ceremonies. He did an outstanding job which means someone else will do it next year.

From left, Genevie, Jenny Sue and Tara next to the groaning tables loaded with fresh fruit and health snacks. These three did the organizational work and management of the run and walk. Superb job.

Shawn, the winner of this year's race, on the Taylor Avenue Dock about a half mile from the finish.

The finish area, with Steve Roguski - far left - of Fairhaven Runners with the microphone announcing the runners names as they cross the line. All runs were electronically timed.

Ready for the start on Harris Avenue with Bellingham Bay at the end of the street.

Up Harris and rounding the corner onto 11th Street in Fairhaven. This is the heart of the historic district.

And up 11th Street the 600 plus runners go, past Village Books. The overall course is very level.

Kyle of Bornstein Seafoods on the left is assisted by Rick as they grill and serve the salmon.

Serving cake and a choice of which you prefer.

A full course meal included corn on the cob, coleslaw, roll and butter, salmon and cake for desert. Plus a soft drink.

The pergola was filled with artists and crafts persons.

The two organizers of this new-old event were Anne of Artesano's and Cathy Lee of Southside Trends. We thank them

The ticket table where you can also buy the Fairhaven Tshirts and get a greeting from Tracie of The Bunch.
