Touring the Alaska Ferry

The annual open ship on the Alaska Ferry ‘Columbia’ was well attended today. This photo shows the folks touring the bridge. The ship is over 400 feet long and takes over 600 people and over 100 cars to Alaska from the Fairhaven terminal every Friday of the year. While summer is the busiest season, fall and winter passages are spectacular and fun also. Check the Alaska Ferry website for more info.

The Silvery Moon has just returned from the World's Largest Gem Show with a huge selection of mohi colored sapphires and new designs. Show your Valentine your love.
