Magic Forest and Santa in Fairhaven

The Magic Forest on the stage of the Village Green was a fun place for little ones today.  The twenty evergreen trees were set up to provide a walkway between and then interesting things were hidden - which the little ones would find and report to the elves.  It sounds complicated but the kids got into it pretty quickly.  And parents that the kids brought enjoyed it also.

Santa arrived this afternoon via horse drawn carriage.  Here he gives oranges to the youngsters as he slowly makes his way onto the Village Green.  Santa then spent the afternoon visiting local shops and restaurants to spread good cheer. 

Rides were given all afternoon to young and old in this beautiful one horse carriage.  Boarding at the Fairhaven Village Inn hotel, riders enjoyed the clip clop ride through the historic district.  Donations were taken that benefit the non-profit Old Fairhaven Association.

This evening - till 9 pm - the annual Holiday Tour d’Art continues at many shops and restaurants.  Fairhaven is decorated, lighted and ready for you to do your holiday or Christmas shopping.  We invite you to our historic district any day of the week.
