Carriage rides and fun shopping

These two young ladies just finished enjoying a carriage ride around the historic Fairhaven district.  And they have hot cocoas to boot. From 1 to 4 pm today and tomorrow, Saturday, the carriage rides are available to all for a modest donation.  The one horse carriage harkens back to Fairhaven’s historic roots in the 1800s.  The rides begin and end at the Fairhaven Village Inn - the hotel across the street from the Village Green.

The Fairahven Toy Garden was crowded with adults and young ones on this first shopping day of the holiday season.  Locally owned, as are all the shops in Fairhaven, it is crammed with unique toys as well as games, puzzles and and classic toys like red wagons and trikes.  Plus craft items line felt for making Christmas decorations and gifts.  We invite you to historic Fairhaven for your Christmas and holiday shopping.
