It all ends at the Fairhaven Festival ... the 8th leg of the Ski to Sea Race

Ski to Sea Race Ends in Fairhaven - at the Fairhaven Festival. Each year on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend in Bellingham, Washington, there is a race down the snows of Mt Baker, down the mountain highway, down the Nooksack River and across Bellingham Bay to finish on the shores of Fairhaven. And here we have one big fun street party.

Park & Ride - Shuttle up!

From WWU to Fairhaven in 4 minutes.
Try the newly expanded Ski to Sea shuttle system in Bellingham this year. Two separate routes: WWU (C lot by the Rec Center) to Fairhaven (12th & McKenzie); Downtown (Boundary Bay) to Fairhaven and also to Zuanich (Coho/Roeder Dr.). Shuttle departs from each location every 15 minutes or less, from 11:00am - 8:00pm (Except Zuanich, last shuttle leaves at 6 pm). Last shuttle departs Fairhaven at 8:00pm to WWU parking lots& Downtown.

$2 for an unlimited ride ticket for the day. Exact change only please.Tickets can be purchased in advance at Village Books and Southside Trends in Fairhaven; at Boundary Bay downtown; and at Whatcom Events at 2227 Queen Street #6.

Tickets will be sold day of at these shuttle stop locations: WWU C Lot, Downtown (in front of Boundary Bay), and in Fairhaven at the Information Booth at 11th and Harris.

Festival schedule on the Streets

10:00 am - Festival begins.
- 25 food booths start serving - ethnic foods, brats, pizza, BBQ - everything you expect to find at a great street party.
- Over 60 street vendor booths to browse. On 11th Street, Harris Ave and 10th Street. You'll find fun stuff.

Music on the band stand at 11th & McKenzie

6 pm to 7:30 - tbd
Beer Garden on McKenzie
12 noon to 6:30 pm serving micro brews, wine and bottled water. $4 tickets for beer or wine or two bottles of water. Only 40 feet from the band stand. Micro brews, domestic, and red or white wines.

Check out the special booths on Harris Ave. Each year we have new fun vendors.

On the Village Green

10 am it all starts. 21 Non-Profit organizations have booths on the Village Green. Learn about our community and what is happening.

10 am - pony rides on 10th St next to the Village Green. All day till at least 6 pm.

4:20 pm - Evolution Trio (David Weiss, Chris Powell, and Nathan Matson)

Vendor Festival Applications for 2012

Here is everything you need to apply for a vending space at the May 27, 2012 Fairhaven Festival - the 8th leg of the Ski to Sea Race. The festival is held in conjunction with Bellingham's "Ski to Sea" race and typically hosts 35,000 visitors rain or shine. The Old Fairhaven Association, a non-profit organization, sponsors the festival.
