February Pacific Northwest Rain Festival
Saturday after Super Bowl
Feb 11, 2012 - Feb 9, 2013 - Feb 8, 2014 - Feb 7, 2015
Produced by the Ladies of the Evening Society of Fairhaven
From 11:45 am to 12:30 pm. A fun, goofy mid-winter happening with rain poetry, rain gear fashion show, music, and rain prediction when we pet the pug. Everyone is welcome to enter a rain poem and enter the rain gear fashion show. Prizes from Fairhaven merchants. A participatory event - and a good antidote for the winter blahs. Come join us for the fun. It is a little different each year. In 2010 it was true to its unorganized and Fairhaven roots by first being cancelled in early January and then reorganized by Raining Queen Diane into a very fun event on Feb 13. It has moved from the first Saturday in February to the Saturday after the Super Bowl - just to better fill a weekend with nothing else happening. Plan to join us for some midwinter fun.
